Mission to Uganda: Two Milestones

Greeting Ugandan partners (Click to enlarge)When Andrew first went on Lighthouse TV it was a missionary outreach. All expenses were paid by American partners. Over the years, graduates of Charis Bible College were called of God to minister as “ground troops” in this country. As a result, the work has grown. A second daily TV broadcast has been added in prime time. A bookstore has been established by CBC grad Leland Shores, and now Leland and CBC Chicago grad, Ann Petry, have expanded the work with Charis Bible College. With this strong beachhead established in Uganda, a strong group of local More partners (Click to enlarge)partners has come into being. Ugandans now want to support the liberating grace message in a land historically dominated by performance Christianity. On our first full day in the city, Andrew and Jamie met with this new family of partners to thank them for taking up the challenge of supporting the work in Uganda. It was a great milestone to celebrate and share with our partners worldwide.

Invitation at Victoria Hall (Click to enlarge)Later that day, another milestone was seen as Andrew ministered from 1-4pm and again from 6-9pm in the Serena Victoria Hall. With 1200 in attendance, hundreds came forward to receive Jesus as Savior, to be filled with the Holy Spirit, and to seek healing. As he does everywhere, Andrew called on the local Charis Bible College students to put what they are learning into practice. The goal of Andrew Wommack Ministries is not to have Andrew pray for everyone, but to teach every believer that they have the authority and power to see miracles in Jesus name. They prayed for each of those who came, and the same power that flows through Andrew, flowed through them. Nearly all those Awaiting prayer (Click to enlarge)seeking the Holy Spirit were heard speaking in tongues. Miracles of healing and deliverance were reported.

Two great milestones on day two of ministry in Uganda.
