Jamie Wommack Answers CBC Students' Questions

Andrew and Jamie Wommack have been in ministry together for more than four decades. Although Jamie travels with Andrew and shares the platform with him during Gospel Truth Seminars ministering through music and song, more often than not, she leaves the speaking to Andrew. Recently however, Jamie addressed the students at Charis Bible College, answering a number of questions the students had previously submitted. In the video below Jamie shares a portion of her own testimony, and about four-wheeling through life with Andrew and full-time ministry. Be sure to watch—you will be blessed.

You are such a blessing, and what a great teaching on "marriage". Notes were taken. Amazing how two people can be so in tune with the Lord after all the years and still be so real. Thank you, thank you.

Dear Jamie, Thanks so much for sharing your wit and wisdom with everyone! It was inspiring!

We lived in Carrolton, Texas in the mid- 70's, had been baptized in the Holy Spirit in the early 70's, and were searching for a church. Someone recommended 'Beverly Hills Baptist Church' to us in Dallas.
We thought, 'a Baptist church??' Well, as you no doubt know, that was Howard Conaster's church,
the minister you referred to who was at Kathyrn Kuhlman's meeting.

We got to this huge church that morning, and the usher asked us if we would like to sit on the front row! Bill always says he could see Brother Conaster's sox, we were so close! Well,
we had never been to a church like that in our lives, and probably not since! He didn't even
preach! It was obviously a Spirit-filled type of church (hard to come by in those days), huge numbers of people, and he didn't even preach! He was just so led of the Lord to move in the gifts of the Spirit. He would say, for instance, 'there is a man up in the balcony in a grey suit with a red tie, you are contemplating bankruptcy and suicide and there is this man down here in the 6th row back with a purple shirt on who can pray with you and help you, you two get together right now, go out in the welcome area of the church, and pray' and do what God tells you to do.

Well, we were absolutely captivated by the total leading of the Lord in that service. Those were exciting days, so many ministries were birthed out of that early 70's era! As to people saying that it was a 'move of God', well of course we thought it was, as we were drawn in as total heathens, and when we learned that God loved us, and wanted to be involved in our lives, well, we were hooked for sure! Now we understand that it isn't necessarily that God deciding that was an era He was going to move in, but that there were enough hungry hearts, that God of course, as He always does, moved and as believers, we moved in obedience into the deeper things of God!

Those were the "Jesus Rally" days. I was baptized in a tank at Century II convention center at a Jesus Rally in 1972 in Wichita Kansas. There was such a long line of people lined up for water baptism, and another line for those hungering for the Baptism! Sad to say, there doesn't seem to be that hunger today in our churches, as Andrew has said, you all will go to a supposedly spirit filled church and a majority of the people do not have the Holy Spirit Baptism with the evidence!

The 'next great move of God' will come when people start that hungering and thirsting again, and it won't be in a specific area. The thing we hear down here (NW Arkansas) is that Corrie Ten Boom flew over NW Arkansas in the late 70's and prophesied that out of this area would come, "THE NEXT GREAT MOVE OF GOD" Of course, that was God's heart as it is for every area, state or section of the country.

I do know He does fill hungry and thirsty souls wanting more of Him!!

Thanks for the memories and your Godly example of womanhood! Love, Eleanor Lock

Thank you Jamie for your awesome words of encouragement. I too share how you see our father. He is a good God. I have said those same things to people when they say why is God doing this to me. I find it so sad. How can they blame God? He is so kind.
We are in a battle right now. If I may ask please pray for us. My daughter Tasha (age 12) had two grand mal seizures in Dec. 2011. This has been very hard on us. I know my Father is good, I know he didn't cause it, I know he is not standing by watching it. You see the truth in the word yet you can't get it to work. And now my husband who has been seizure free for years is experiencing problems.
We keep watching the healing testimonies on dvd and we surround ourselves with the teaching from your ministry and Dr. Jim Richards from Impact Ministries yet we can't seem to get ontop of these issue's. We have grown yet find ourselves weary but today I have been encouraged to get back up and continue to stand. Thank you for your faithfulness to God and sharing from your heart.
God Bless you and your family

Karen,

Thank you for your comments and kind words. While I will stand in agreement with you that both your daughter and your husband will receive complete restoration and HIS wholeness, may I suggest you contact our Help Line for one-on-one phone ministry with a live prayer minister? The number is (719) 635-1111 and the line is open Monday - Friday 4:30 AM to 9:30 PM MST. It is my prayer that your family receive all that the Lord has provided in exchange for what the enemy has perverted. I call your family blessed and victorious over this situation. I pray in the mighty Name of Jesus.

Thank you Jamie, I really enjoyed this. Having just returned home from the UK conference 1-4 June, I am having "withdrawral" symptons, could have sat under Andrew's ministry and your beautiful singing and piano accompaniment for weeks!!! Only heard of you both around 4 months ago from a friend in Australia, since then I have been accused of OD=ing on AWM tv recordings back as far as 2000. I had the freedom and love of God when I was first baptised in Holy Spirit 30 years ago, after 2 yrs religious people got hold of me, but thanks to your ministry I am free again and intend to stay that way, so looking forward to you both returning next year. God bless you both,
