Finding the Answer

Cassaundra Siegersma“I grew up in a religious home, and sickness was just punishment for doing something wrong. I remember telling my dad about my back problems, and his response was, ‘What did you do to cause it?’”

Cassaundra Siegersma had been diagnosed with Hashimoto’s disease, sleep apnea, asthma, and fibromyalgia and had two herniated disks resulting in two back surgeries. She would sleep all day and stay up all night while her husband worked three jobs to pay the bills. Still, they were on the brink of bankruptcy.

Searching for a change, Cassaundra decided to tag along with one of her relatives to AWM’s annual Summer Family Bible Conference in Colorado. “I remember sitting under Andrew’s teaching,” recalls Cassaundra, “and he started quoting verses from the Bible concerning healing. Anytime I would have the thought of his teaching being false, I would be reminded of Romans 3:4, ‘Let God be true, but every man a liar.’ I realized that Andrew was quoting the Word. And God is true; therefore, His word is true.”

After receiving prayer for her healing at the conference, Cassaundra went back to her hotel room and threw her medication away, deciding that she was going to take a stand on her healing. Two weeks later, she received a touch from God that she would never forget.

“One morning as I was trying to sleep, I felt someone touch my toe. I thought my husband wanted me to take him to work. So, I opened my eyes, but no one was there. Within five minutes, I was asleep and slept better than I had in years.

“I can honestly say that I have been healed of everything. Not only did God heal me physically, but He was also able to heal my broken heart. God healed all of the hurt, anger, and condemnation in my life and replaced it with His peace.”

Cassaundra’s family is closer, stronger, and more loving than ever before. She has experienced her Healer and, as a result, will never be the same. “Healing is like any gift,” remarks Cassaundra. “If God paid for it in order to give it to you, then He wants you to have it!

“I think one of the greatest realizations I have come to understand is that healing is about the solution, not the problem. The cross is the answer, and it does not matter what problem you are facing. God can change your mind, your circumstances, and even that giant in your life. What Christ did on the cross is so much bigger than any sin or circumstance in your life.

“Let God be your refuge, your fortress, your deliverer, and a very present help in time of need. He will meet you wherever you are with outstretched hands and a loving heart. Go hear the Word, hear the truth, and expect to see a good God show up in powerful ways in your life!”

Thank you for sharing this. I really needed to hear this, I've been really struggling with fear and panic and worry with my health. I was given a transfusion contaminated with hep C as a child and I am so afraid of not being healed. I pray for forgiveness for my doubt and lack of faith and depression. I know God is working on me, building up my faith so that I can get my healing.

Your testimony made me cry. My situation is so very similar. I have 4 adult children and 10 grandchildren. My husband and I have struggled in our relationship for almost 36 years. He has Asperger syndrome and so do 2 of my children and a grandson. I have a daughter and her son who are both bipolar. We have a VERY dysfunctional family. I, too, have been diagnosed with 3 herniated disc's in my lumbar region, one herniated discuss in my cervical and scoliosis in my lumbar.
I also have severely damaged TMJs and bunions on both feet They burn after I'm in shoes for awhile.
I was recently diagnosed and I suffer with PTSD (Post Tramatic Stress Disorder). I have had a lifetime of depression and have attempted suicide several times but GOD has intervened each and every time. I do believe that JESUS has completed the sacrifice and payment for all my afflictions.
I try to rest in HIS finished work and celebrate communion everyday. Please pray for me and my family. Our relationships with each other are very dysfunctional as well.
Just yesterday I ended up in the EL was told I now have Pneumonia.
I love GOD because HE first loved me. Please pray for me. I received the GRACE revelation almost 2 years ago and it has truly set me free from Catholic religion. I just don't understand why my healing doesn't manifest?

I was just telling a cousin brother of mine, that me and my family chose Jesus above everything and hence chose healing. I told him that though my insurance covers our health bills, I have never fallen sick ever since I left my father's house. I simply refuse to fall sick in Jesus' name. I get back ache, flue and even a temperature once in a while but I simply refuse it and pray in jesus' name and I be healed. For a few colds, I take mild drugs some times but thats it, I choose life. Choose it now and today. LIVE LIFE TO THE FULLEST IN JESUS CHRIST.

We are saved by Grace through Faith it is a gift of God, not of works, LEST any man should BOAST. Saved is the Greek word SOZO it means saved, delivered, Healed, prosperous, whole. It is the same as the word Salvation. Jesus (Yeshua) means God of Salvation. For God so Loved the world than He Gave His only begotten son, Whoever BELIEVES in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be Saved.(john3:16-17)So then Faith Comes by hearing, hearing the word of God.(Romans 10:17) But Faith works through Love (Galations 5:6) God is Love. In this The Love of God was Manifested toward us, that God Sent His Only Begotten Son into the world, that we might live through Him. In this is Love, not that we loved God but He Loved us and sent His Son the propitation for our sons. ..His Love has been perfected in us. By this we know that we abide in Him and He in us, because He has Given us of His Spirit. And we have seen and testify that the Father has sent the SonSavior of the world Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God abides in Him and he in God. And we Have Known and Believed The Love that God has for us. God is Love, and he who abides in Love, abides in God, and God in him. Love has been perfected among us in this. That we may have Boldness in the day of judgment, Because As He is, So Are We in this world. There is No Fear in Love, But Perfect Love Casts Out All Fear, because Fear involves torment. But He who fears has not been made perfect in Love. We love Him because He first Loved us. ( 1 John 4:7-19)Now Hope does not disappoint, Because The Love of God Has Been Poured Out in our Hearts by the Holy Spirit who was Given to us.(Romans 5:5)Bless the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ Who HASBlessed Us with Every spiritual Blessing in the heavenlies In Christ. (Ephesians 1:3) I thank my God, making mention of you always in my prayers, hearing of your Love and Faith which you have toward the Lord Jesus Christ and toward All the saints, that the Sharing of your Faith may become Effective By The ACKNOWLEDGMENT of EVERY GOOD THING WHICH IS IN YOU IN CHRIST JESUS (Philemon 5-6) To those who have obtained like PRECIOUS FAITH with us By The Righteousness of Our God and Savior Jesus Christ : Grace and Peace Be MMultiplied to you in the Knowledge of God and Jesus Christ our Lord, as His DIVINE POWER HAS GIVEN to us ALL THINGS TO LIFE AND GODLINESS, THROUGH THE KNOWLEDGE OF HIM WHO has called us by GLORY and VIRTUE, by which Have Been GIVEN to us EXCEEDINGLY PRECIOUS PROMISES, that through these you may be PARTAKERS of the Divine nature. (2 PETER 1:1-4)

Have Faith in God. For assuredly I Say to you, Whoever Says to this mountain Be Removed and Be Cast into the sea, and does not doubt in his heart, but BELIEVES that those things he Says will be done, he will Have Whatever he Says. Therefore I Say to you, whatever things you Ask when you pray, BELIEVE that you RECEIVE them, and you Will Have. (Mark 11-22-24)

Now Faith is the Substance of the Things Hoped For, the Evidence of Things not seen. (Hebrews 11:1)
The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart (that is, the word of Faith which we preach) : that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and BELIEVE in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead you will be Saved (sozo- saved, delivered, Healed, prosperous, whole) For with theheart one BELIEVES unto righteousness and with the mouth Confession is made into Salvation (SOZO)For there is no distinction between jew and gentile, for the same Lord over all is Rich to All who call upon Him. For Whoever Calls on the Name of the Lord Shall Be Saved (sozo- saved, Healed, delivered, prosperous, whole).(Romans 10:8-13)

Ask Believe Receive that your Joy may Be Full.

For By Grace we have been saved (SOZO) Through Faith and not of yourselves, the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should BOAST. (Ephesians 2:8-9)

Now to Him who is Able to Do EXCEEDINGLY ABUNDANTLY ABOVE ALL that we ask or think, ACCORDING to The POWER that works IN US (HIS SPIRIT) TO HIM GLORY IN THE CHURCH BY CHRIST JESUS TO ALL GENERATIONS, FOREVER AND EVER. AMEN. (Ephesians 3:20-21)

Hello! I am new to your teachings, and I have a questiion about what causes sickness and disease...and have been told that when we sin it opens the door to satan to afflict us with it. They go on to say that when we confess and repent of the sin that caused it that God will heal us if we pray the Prayer of Faith, which is mentioned in James 5:14.

I also know that Gallations 3:13 says that Jesus redeemed us from the curse of the Law, so I must admit that I'm very confused! I'm hoping that you will be able to set me on the right path ~ thank you very much for your help! Judy

@Judy

Thank you so much for reaching out to us! We believe the Bible teaches that healing for our bodies was provided in Christ's atonement. Our redemption was accomplished two thousand years ago, and all of the benefits of that redemption became available at that time for all who believe. We have been freed from the power of sin and all of its manifestations, including sickness!

Isaiah prophesied and Peter confirmed that by Jesus' stripes we were healed (Isaiah 53:4-5, 1 Pet 2:24). In other words, forgiveness exists for all men whether they receive it or not. The price was paid! And thus, healing is also available to all, even if some do not take advantage of it. As we are transformed by the renewing of our minds and we walk in the authority and revelation of this great truth, we will be able to appropriate what Christ has purchased for us with His stripes.

Believers should know that their sin does not separate them from the Father, and that through Christ the power of sin is broken in their lives. We are no longer bound to sin, as Paul speaks about in Romans 6. The more that we realize that we have freedom from sin, the more we can choose not to walk in it through receiving satisfaction from Christ and renewing our minds to His Word.

We hope this helps! For more on this topic, we encourage you to listen to Andrew's free teaching "God Wants You Well," which is available through this link: http://www.awmi.net/audio/audio-teachings/#/awm_1036a_atonement.mp3. This teaching will help you as you renew your mind to the healing that has already been provided through Jesus' finished work! Please feel free to contact us with any other questions that you may have. Have a blessed night! – AWMI Team
