(Click to enlarge)In late March, Andrew held a well-attended Gospel Truth Seminar near the nation's capital in Washington, DC. Andrew taught a series of messages entitled, A New Covenant with a New Commandment. Holding nothing back as he began to share his message, Andrew declared, "Most Christians do not understand the New Covenant." He said that for many people, the only difference they recognize between the Old and New Covenants is the single blank page in the Bible that separates the two. According to Andrew, this lack of understanding leads to a schizophrenic impression of God and of His true nature, and ultimately leads to the wrong doctrine so evident in the church today.

On Friday night Andrew opened the meeting by re-reading Hebrews 8:13, a verse he had read several times throughout the previous sessions. Drawing on this verse he taught that believers Andrew speaking Friday night. (Click to enlarge)today are not supposed to relate to God the same way as people did under the Old Covenant. "In our religious system today people will basically embrace the things that Moses said, the things David said, the way they prayed, the way they begged God not to leave them, the way they pleaded for cleansing and things. It is totally different under the New Covenant, and yet the average person does not make a distinction."

As Andrew continued to minister the Good News and freedom of the New Covenant, people began to catch a glimpse of the revelation of how awesome God is, and hearts and lives were transformed and prepared to receive from the Lord. With crowd attendance averaging close to 1000 each session, prayer ministers were in high demand. "We were glad to have 30 partners ready to serve," said one prayer team leader.

Andrew praying over the crowd Saturday morning. (Click to enlarge)After one session, a family with three little girls approached the ministry team. Each of the three suffered with physical issues, most prominently scoliosis. Their lives were changed as they received prayer and Jesus healed each one of them. One of the girl's legs visibly grew out, and each girl's twisted spine straightened and came into alignment with the Word of God. At the following session the three girls returned to the minister who had prayed for them and excitedly shared how happy they were now that they did not need to wear their back braces anymore!

During another session, a woman made her way to the front for prayer and her frail appearance caught the attention of several of the prayer ministers. The woman said she came forward because felt like she was dying. She explained that she had been in a car accident five years ago and had been suffering with excruciating pain ever since due to spine and neck injuries. As the ministers prayed the woman fell to the floor under the power of the Holy Spirit. A few moments later, the woman stood to her feet completely healed and pain free.

The 23 member team led by CBC Missions Coordinator, Michelle Patterson, joined forces with their hosts Jeff and Barb Serio in Berlin. The Serios are the founders of European Initiative, a ministry whose mission is to mobilize teams of Christians and leaders A powerful time of worship held near the Brandenburg Gate.
This is the third team from Colorado to minister on the streets of Berlin in the past 18 months. While the previous two teams spent much of their time planting the seed of God's Word and ministering to seemingly skeptical crowds, the most recent team was blessed to witness hearts and lives in transformation. Not only did they see the fruit of their own ministry, but also that of previous teams' efforts. This team saw 44 Berliners and Europeans receive Christ during their outreaches, and hundreds more were engaged in one-on-one conversations.Students ministered in a variety of settings. There were many opportunities for individual conversation and prayer.

One CBC student, Karen Buhrke, saw breakthrough in her own life while ministering to the people of Berlin. She had grown up singing in church, but when she was in her late teens she had gotten up to perform a solo and made a mistake that traumatized her. Karen had choked in front of everyone. In those moments on the platform, she made a decision never to sing a solo again. For nine years she harbored the anxiety of singing on a serious level in front of people. Nearly a decade later, she found herself standing in front of the crowds on the streets of Berlin—microphone in hand. Sensitive to the Holy Spirit's leading, Karen began to hear God speaking to her. "I heard the Lord tell me 'Get the microphone and sing Nothing But the Blood of Jesus.'" All that anxiety from years ago rose up and she was terrified. As hard as it was, Karen chose to listen to the encouragement of the Lord. She stepped forward, grabbed the microphone and sang her heart out.CBC student, Karen Buhrke, overcame nine years of anxiety in Berlin and she began to sing her heart out for the Lord. (Click to enlarge)

Karen's team leaders were astounded, and most of the team members were crying. Karen said, "I felt the blood of Jesus wash all over the city, and it was at that moment that I made a decision to no longer live my life by my circumstances, but live my life by the cross. "Another student, Ashley Tomlinson, said after her trip, "I will never be the same." She shared the Gospel with two 13-year-old girls and afterwards, had the privilege of leading them in the prayer of Salvation. While that experience is a priceless one, it was more of a shock to Ashley because the two girls had never heard the name, "Jesus."

CBC student, Ashley Tomlinson, enjoyed the team's skits and dancing with the Berliners. Here the locals joined in the team in dance. (Click to enlarge)Ashley said, "It broke my heart, and was a huge wake up call to realize that there really are people in this world that have never even heard our Savior's name. I mean I have heard that, but when you encounter it, it becomes more than hearsay. It becomes reality; it's in your face and you are left with a decision on what you're going to do with it." Ashley went on to say, "I'm no longer okay with just day-to-day living when there are people around me living without Life. It's ignited a fire in me for the lost that I didn't have before...May this fire that has started in my heart fan into flames and never, ever be quenched!

Table Luncheon. (Click to enlarge)Charis Bible College in Colorado recently held a luncheon in honor of the school's international students. Andrew and Jamie were on hand to celebrate with the students and to enjoy the colorful and flavorful festivities. The event was called the H.I.S. Table Luncheon (Hello International Students) and it was the fourth of its kind to be held.

In 2009, CBC was awarded Student Exchange Visitor Program (SEVP) certification from the United States Department of Homeland Security. This certification granted CBC the ability to enroll non-immigrant students on M-1 visas. During the first year of the program, CBC was home to 14 international students. In this, its third year, CBC Student Services Assistant, Designated School Representative for SEVP, and luncheon organizer, Wendy Okamura, welcomes guests. (Click to enlarge) CBC hosted 27 SEVP students and the enrollment numbers continue to climb with 42 students expected to start classes in the fall of 2012.

SEVP students who make the decision to study at CBC in Colorado not only commit to making cultural adjustments by leaving their homelands, but they are required to provide proof that they have the finances to support themselves and their families while in America, because their visas do not permit them to be gainfully employed while in the States. It is because of these requirements and the sacrifices many students make to come to the U.S. to study the Word that CBC holds a special luncheon to honor them.

In addition to the 27 SEVP international students, CBC is also home to 14 other students from outside the country who have chosen to obtain legal immigrant status. All 41 students were honored at the luncheon and together they represented 24 nations The celebration of international diversity included students from 24 nations. (Click to enlarge)(Switzerland, Ireland, Haiti, Russia, Canada, Scotland, Poland, England, Ukraine, Guernsey, Germany, Moldova, Romania, Korea, Italy, Bahamas, Ghana, India, Mexico, Sri Lanka, South Africa, Brazil, Kenya and Indonesia).

According to Wendy Okamura, the event's organizer and MC, the theme for the luncheon centered around the Hawaiian word Aloha because of its multifold meaning. "The word Aloha means hello, goodbye, affection, love, peace and the breath of life," said Wendy. It was a fitting title for the celebration of international students coming to attend CBC and those leaving after graduation to go back to their homelands to share the Gospel. The celebration included worshipful hula dancing and musical worship provided by CBC graduates, staff and students from Hawaii.

Sometimes students find more than Biblical revelation at CBC. Here Andrew and Jamie celebrate two student's wedding engagement.
(Click to enlarge)During an opening performance of hula ministry, CBC graduate Niau Mora, a native of Hawaii, shared more about the definition of the word Aloha. "The word 'Alo' means, 'God's centered thinking'. He thought about man before He put us on this earth. He prepared everything for us so that we would lack absolutely nothing. Then, 'ha,' He blew the breath of life into us. We are God's center focus," said Niau.

Andrew also shared a special message at the luncheon, during which he likened the international students to, containers full of God's Word. "We have been depositing [the seed of] God's Word in you and we're expecting it to grow and change entire nations. I don't know what your thoughts were when you came here, but you are going to go out and change nations," Andrew proclaimed.

Andrew shares his thoughts and encoragement with the staff and students at the luncheon.
(Click to enlarge)Andrew went on to say, "The Lord fashioned our hearts alike, and it doesn't matter what the color of your skin is, what language you speak, what your customs are, on the inside we're all exactly the same and the Word of God is written straight for a person's heart. And, we're teaching the Word. These truths that are working in my life, will work anywhere in the world. If you will preach this in your culture, you can see every single person impacted by this. We don't need another American to go in and try to make Americans out of everybody. We need you to take these truths, put it in your culture, use your background, share the things that will reach your people, and we'll see it—just like fire—go all over the world."

From the colorful decorations to the flavorful food and conversation, there was an excitement in the room and around H.I.S Table because the potential to change the world is limitless through Christ in us.

Sanctuary Virtual Tour: Inside the Auditorium

Andrew's television department has recently completed the fourth and final virtual tour of The Sanctuary facility. While ministering in India had been in the back of Lance's mind for nearly a decade, he had waited patiently for the Lord to reveal to Gerri that the region was to be her mission field as well. For many years, Gerri had not shared Lance's enthusiasm to reach the nation of India, but in January 2011, the Lord supernaturally changed Gerri's mind and filled her heart with His love for the Indian people.

More recently the Weldgens had come alongside the Forgoston family at CBC-India in Chennai. While all their endeavors produced Kingdom fruit, Chennai has provided a newfound stability for the Weldgens—they have recently become the new directors of AWM/CBC-India.

Lance said, "We have been at the Bible college for the past few months and the more time we spent there, the more clearly we saw God’s plan unfolding, and God continues to fine-tune the plan He has for us. I am blessed and honored to now be directing Andrew Wommack Ministries and Charis Bible College of India!"

"God was just that faithful with Gerri and me! We stepped out and the Holy Spirit led! We were led to minister in far reaching villages and hamlets where they have not known grace. Once we developed relationships with people who needed the unconditional grace and love message, God led us to CBC to train up servants to go out and do the same," said Lance excitedly.

We're very happy that such dedicated people took up the challenge to move to the other side of the world to help take CBC-India to the next level!"

The Weldgens recognize the staff and students' commitment to spreading the Gospel of Grace to all of India, and they are excited with anticipation of what the Lord is going to do with and through the school in the coming years. Lance and Gerri are thankful to have been accepted so quickly by a wonderful staff and that they have embraced the Weldgen's vision for the school. "Our vision is to see many CBC schools open CBC-India, staff and students.
(Click to enlarge)during the next years, and already we are close in two other major cities in India," said Lance.

In the meantime, CBC-India graduated 20 students in April of 2012, and each of these graduates plans to spread the almost-too-good-to-be-true-news of the Gospel throughout the nation. Their determination to share what they have learned highlights the power of God's Word and exemplifies Andrew's heart for ministry duplication through CBC. Andrew has declared that he will spend the rest of his life advancing the Kingdom based on the model found in 2 Timothy 2:2,

(Click to enlarge)Recently, 25 Charis Bible College students from Colorado headed south to the Central American nation of Costa Rica. Led by CBC's Director of Online Education, Greg Macy, this small army of short-term missionaries was hosted by CBC-Colorado graduates, Jim and Lynn McHood of Kingdom Transitions Ministries at their 60 acre training center in La Esparanza.

While the trip offered a wide range of ministry opportunities, the students were specifically challenged by their host to, go deeper. "Go deeper in knowing Jesus. Go deeper in serving others, really listening and hearing God. Go deeper in being led and walking in the Spirit. Go deeper in building people and the Kingdom of God with pure motives and heart. Go deeper in unity, working as a team CBC student, Cathy Reeves, ministering from her own life experience to a group of ladies from a women's shelter.
(Click to enlarge)and loving others. Go deeper in the areas God is showing you," Jim encouraged.

One student, Cathy Reeves, took Jim's encouragement to heart and sought the Lord about where she was to focus her ministry. Cathy felt strongly that God was leading her to minister to abused women. She had her opportunity as the McHoods had a bus-load of ladies from a local women's shelter brought to the training center, aptly named Garden of Hope. The CBC team ministered to the women through breakfast and lunch, and during that time, Cathy could see that the women were bound by shame, hurt, guilt, sickness and hopelessness.

Knowing she was scheduled to teach between meals, Cathy had prepared a message to share with the women from the shelter, but as her turn to speak drew near, the Holy Spirit began to rearrange her plan. Sensitive to Jim's encouragement to "Go deeper," Cathy let go of her plan and embraced His. The Lord led Cathy to share As Cathy ministered, the Lord gave her a word for the women and a powerful time of individual prayer ministry followed. (Click to enlarge)a very personal healing testimony with the group—something she had not shared before. "Although I knew I was set free from a stronghold that had been in my life for 51 years, I had no idea he would want me to share such a personal message with these ladies. I obeyed, and I could tell the Holy Spirit was touching them even through my interpreter," Cathy shared.

Cathy said it had been raining all morning and that as she ministered the Lord spoke to her to tell the women that just as it was raining in front of them (the meeting was held in a cabana without sides) the Lord wanted them to know He was raining His love on them, healing and delivering them. As Cathy finished sharing the word, the rain turned to a downpour, and the place erupted into a frenzy of women crying out to God and being healed, delivered, saved and baptized in the Holy Spirit. The women understood that God was there to meet them in their need. At that point, other ladies from CBC began to minister to the CBC student, Sheryl Ellis, seen here with several school children, ministered healing to a woman who had Parkinson's disease. "This was the first healing I had witnessed in someone I had prayed for—it was a wonderful feeling,"exclaimed Sheryl.women from the shelter. "There were more ladies than interpreters but the Holy Spirit knew what each one needed," said Cathy.

Later as the women were boarding the bus to head back the shelter, Cathy noticed that none of them looked the way they had when they arrived. She said they all looked younger and free. "The same enemy that kept me bound, has ladies bound in the same way, thousands of miles away! I know that the Lord loves these ladies so much that He sent me all the way to Costa Rica to deliver a message that had set me free and in turn it has set them free," said Cathy.

CBC-Colorado Students Encourage Believers in the UK

Charis Bible College-Colorado's team stands with Allan Bruce, Director of CBC-Belfast, Northern Ireland. (Click to enlarge)In late February, Charis Bible College's Missions Coordinator, Michelle Patterson, and a team of eight second-year CBC-Colorado students ventured across the pond to minister in the United Kingdom. The annual trip to the UK, which includes stops in England, Scotland and Northern Ireland, is unlike the majority of the mission trips CBC offers. The students' primary audience for ministry in the UK is other believers, rather than the lost people of un-churched third-world nations. While the mission field is different, the impact is still powerful as this type of ministry mirrors the Apostle Paul's journeys to encourage and edify those already established in the Kingdom.CBC-Colorado and CBC-UK students in Walsall, England. (Click to enlarge)

The students had the opportunity to teach at CBC extension campuses in Walsall, England and in Belfast as well as minister at Glen Aros Church in Dumfries, Scotland. The team also participated in several evangelistic outreaches as they toured the UK.

One Colorado student, Lorin Guilkey, set his expectations for the trip on witnessing the miraculous; he wanted to see God work through him—and he did. He was standing outside the school in Belfast when a woman, who could barely walk, approached him. CBC-Colorado student, Lorin Guilkey ministers from the pulpit. Lorin wanted to God to use him and He did. (Click to enlarge)The woman hobbled across the street and asked Lorin if he could pray for healing in her back. Lorin prayed, and the woman instantly received relief from her pain.

The Lord used another CBC-Colorado student, Michael Lee, to share a word of encouragement with the students attending CBC-Belfast. Michael challenged them to begin to utilize the gifts the Lord had given each one for the benefit of the school and the body of Christ as a whole. Evidently, it was the right word at exactly the right time because several students approached Michael and others on the Colorado team, and shared that Michael Lee, ministering at CBC-Belfast, where he encouraged the Belfast students to step out in their faith and utilize their God-given gifts. The next day, a student with musical talent, got up to assist the school's director, Allan Bruce, by singing and playing the piano during praise and worship—something Allan usually did by himself. This experience was also an encouragement for Michael. "I learned that God could even use me, a middle-aged man, who had lived most of my life being self-centered, but when I truly surrendered my life and future to Christ, God was free to do amazing things through me," said Michael joyfully.CBC-Colorado students during a time of prayer ministry at Glen Aros Church in Dumfries, Scotland.
Pastor John Donnelly, of Glen Aros Church in Scotland, offered these encouraging words of thanks to the team after their time in Scotland, "We can't quite find the words to say thank you to you and the team that have just been with us. We have been impacted as a church in a way that maybe I didn't think possible, and all of it for the good. Please do pass our love and thanks on to all of the team; they have left us with a legacy that will go on forever. As we gathered at church this morning we really felt that things had changed and that we had been strengthened and galvanized as we prepare to move on to the next level. Thank you all."

CBC Grads Launch New Church in Michigan

CBC-Colorado graduates and pastors of House On The Rock Church in Michigan, Mike and Rose Gonyer. (Click to enlarge)Mike Gonyer remembers a time in the late nineties, when he made the decision to press into God’s Word to find the answers he was seeking regarding healing. For years, he had struggled with multiple health issues and doctors were unable to provide him with lasting relief. Mike’s wife, Rose, just a friend at the time, had been listening to Andrew for years and introduced Mike to Andrew's teaching. Andrew’s materials made it possible for the couple to dig into the Word and learn as much as their hungry hearts desired.

Mike listened to Andrew’s teachings, The Believer’s Authority and You've Already got It, and as a result began receiving the healing he so desperately sought. At the time, Mike and Rose both led Bible Rose, Mike and Bob Wood. (Click to enlarge)study groups, and as they continued to see the Word produce fruit in their lives, they began to share what they were learning with their study groups as well. “We were seeing miracles and healings regularly,” Mike said.

It wasn’t long before the Gonyers started thinking about attending Charis Bible College. At the time, Mike worked for a large pharmaceutical manufacturer in his home state of Michigan, and Rose was on staff at the church the two attended. Initially, as the couple considered attending Bible college, they planned to make their move following retirement. Soon, however, their desire to attend CBC intensified. Mike attended CBC's Men’s Advance in February 2005 and recalls Andrew ministering a series on A Place Called There. His excitement to enroll at CBC began to get the best of him, but when he brought it before the Lord in prayer, he heard, “Not yet.” Disappointed, but obedient, Mike returned to work in Michigan.

Two months later, Mike was informed that his employer was closing his facility, and he was given the option to apply for another position within the company and relocate or take a severance package. Once again, Mike and Rose prayed about their next move; they heard God Humble beginnings...Mike's first lectern, from behind which he ministered while teaching at the metal factory. (Click to enlarge)tell them to take the severance and go to school. The compensation Mike received was enough to pay for the couple’s schooling and living expenses for their three years at CBC.

Following graduation, Mike accepted a position at CBC as the director of the third year program, a program specifically for students planning to go into full-time ministry. Rose was also hired by CBC as an adjunct faculty member. The Gonyers spent the next two years teaching, pastoring and encouraging the students—positions they both very much enjoyed.

Mike and Rose now know that the time they spent on staff at CBC was excellent preparation for where the Lord was bringing them. In February, 2010, the Gonyers were on a CBC mission trip in Ireland when the Lord woke Mike in the middle of the night and said, “Get ready, you’re moving to Michigan.” Mike shared the word with Rose, and the two began to pray for God’s plan and timing.

The Gonyers started with twelve people the first night at the metal factory. The group grew and moved to a local church building where they held mid-week healing school services with 40-50 people. (Click to enlarge)In April, Mike and Rose felt led to put their Colorado home up for sale, and despite the terrible housing market, the Gonyer’s home sold in two weeks time. Still unsure where they were to go or what they were to do, the two stayed in Colorado and moved into temporary housing. “We didn’t know where the Lord wanted us to move in Michigan and we continued to seek Him until we heard, 'the Ann Arbor area,'” Rose said.

Although the Gonyers knew they were called to pastoral ministry, and they knew where they were headed, they were still not clear whether they would be assisting with an existing church or planting a new church. The two moved into an apartment in the Ann Arbor area and Mike took on a temporary job while they waited to hear from the Lord. As they waited, God faithfully and vividly presented His plan to them, and Mike and Rose understood that they were to plant a church. “We were to establish the church, build the foundation of grace After six months of meetings, the Gonyers heard the Lord tell them to start regular Sunday services. On January 15, 2012 they held their first official service at the Marriot Hotel. (Click to enlarge)within the body and reach out to a very lost and struggling world here in this area,” Mike said.

“It was during our first year at CBC that I knew we would be pastoring someday, so when Mike told me we were going to Michigan, I knew what it was to do. I never told Mike all that I knew in my heart because he needed to hear it from the Lord first. It would be the word from the Lord that would sustain him in the hard times,” said Rose.

Mike and Rose officially launched House On The Rock Church in January, and call it a privilege to pastor and care for His people. The couple loves to see the proverbial, "lights come on" when the people they minister to begin to understand God's grace, love and faithfulness. (Click to enlarge) Paul Milligan watched his dad, DeLoyd Milligan, work hard to provide and gain financial security and stability for his family. Having been raised during the Great Depression and having served in World War II, his father was determined to give his son the foundation he would need to succeed in life. DeLoyd's motivation stemmed from living a life that was either trying to starve him to death or kill him in war.

Paul’s dad instilled the idea that financial security came from discipline and hard work, two things DeLoyd demonstrated his entire life. He taught Paul that working for a good company, giving more than was expected and retiring with enough money to live comfortably should be his goal in life. Paul became keenly aware of his dad’s need to see him succeed. In fact, by the time he was fourteen, Paul’s dad had helped him land an afterschool job at a Western Auto Store. When Paul graduated Salutatorian of his high school class, his dad was thrilled that Paul was on the right path.

Paul sharing a message in 2004, at a church in Lincoln, England.
(Click to enlarge)True to his values and work ethic, DeLoyd retired in 1985 after working in sales for over thirty years. Needless to say, in 1988, when Paul announced that he would be quitting his stable and secure job as the Vice President of a large company to start a new business, Global Technical Service, Inc., his dad was thoroughly disappointed. It wasn’t easy for Paul to go against everything his dad had taught him, but he had begun to receive new revelation from God in the area of finances.

Paul married his wife, Patsy, in July, 1974. The couple lived paycheck to paycheck for years, until Paul heard Andrew and some other radio ministers, who began to build his faith for Paul and his wife, Patsy.
(Click to enlarge)financial freedom. He started seeking God diligently about how He wanted him to manage money. He and Patsy were attending at Baptist church in Arlington, Texas; a church that did not embrace what Paul was learning from Andrew.

Paul remembers being impacted by Andrew’s teaching and became convicted to receive the baptism in the Holy Spirit. “I was very conflicted over this [baptism] at this time, but there was such an anointing on Andrew’s teaching, I knew it was God.” Knowing that his wife would not approve, Paul waited until he was home alone to attempt to receive the baptism. He got down on his knees in his living room and prayed, but nothing seemed to happen. Paul was not sure Paul and Andrew. The two first met in the late 1980's. (Click to enlarge)whether or not he had received the baptism. That night, however, things changed. “I literally sat, bolt upright in bed, at about 2 a.m., speaking in tongues—scared my poor wife to death,” Paul shared.

Paul continued to gain revelation of God’s will to prosper His people. Over the past 25 years, as he applied what the Lord showed him, he has purchased or started a total of fourteen businesses. “It was in about 1984 that we began to live the plan God had shown us for debt free stewardship and giving according to his Word. We give thanks to God for revealing to us, at a relatively young age, how to be prosperous according to His plan for our lives,” said Paul.Andrew invited Paul to be part of AWM's Board of Directors in 2002.
The fruit of Paul’s business ventures are a clear indication to others of his revelation of the Word of God. In 1996, Andrew had known Paul for nearly eight years and was familiar with his success. He asked Paul to review the financial state of Andrew Wommack Ministries. Paul agreed and he helped restructure the ministry's accounting system. His efforts helped Andrew establish solid financial systems within the ministry. In 2002, Andrew asked Paul to join the AWM Board of Directors.

Here he ministers to a group of pastors in Viet Nam. (Click to enlarge)In 2004, after 35 years, Paul retired from the business world, and he moved right into full-time ministry. Paul established Lifewalk International in 2003, the mission of which is to deliver teaching about godly stewardship and financial prosperity and to encourage the Body of Christ to produce wealth to establish the Covenant of God on earth. Paul has ministered in 15 countries, and spent extensive time in Kenya establishing a business school. Paul’s work in Kenya has been so successful that the church, with which he works, built a two-story engineered building that will seat 6500 people, a new bible college and several other facilities that bless the community.

He went on to share his vision for the business students, “My vision for the school is a big one. I believe that God has called an army of business people to create wealth to establish his covenant in the earth through giving to ministries like AWM. I see the day that we have many students of the business school operating by God’s principles in the marketplace, producing wealth and returning seed to AWM to continue the incredible work of this ministry. My desire is that Andrew’s teaching LifeWalk also helped Word of Faith build a Bible college next to the church. This vision requires money and producing wealth is what God has called me to do.”

Paul recalled a conversation he had with his dad before he died in 2002: “My dad asked me if I remembered his objection to me quitting my job to start Global. I said, ‘Sure Dad, I remember; you were very disappointed in me at the time.’ He then said he wanted me to know that he was wrong and that what I had accomplished by starting my own company had changed our family forever,” said Paul.

Paul and his wife Patsy (center), and their family—forever changed by the Word of God. (Click to enlarge)Through his son, DeLoyd Milligan learned that God wanted him and his family to be financially free, not just financially secure. Paul once had to make a tough decision to go against what his dad had taught him, and trust God. Today he has committed his life to making sure others learn the same principles he learned. From beginnings rooted in poverty, Paul and his dad lived to experience prosperity beyond their wildest expectation.

Through building businesses, through ministry and through his own personal life, Paul has seen the faithfulness of God’s provision. His testimony and teaching continue to inspire and give hope to a generation that Paul hopes will one day change how the world views financial prosperity and stewardship.

Allan Bruce: Tailored for Ministry

Director of CBC-Belfast, Allan Bruce, with Andrew at The Sanctuary in Woodland Park, Colorado.
(Click to enlarge)Allan Bruce enjoyed working in the retail business for many years, first as a shoe salesman, then as a men's suit salesman and finally as a Grooms Hire, tailoring suits and customizing the look for weddings. Allan was introduced to Andrew’s ministry when a student from Charis Bible College-Belfast gave him Andrew's teaching, Positive Ministry of the Holy Spirit. The revelation he received through the message began to redirect Allan’s steps and today he is the Director of CBC-Belfast.

Allan can recall the moment that he realized that the Holy Spirit was indeed a positive influence in his life. “I took a drive in my Allan and the CBC-Belfast mission team, including former CBC-Belfast Co-director Yvonne O'Brien (left), that ministered in Mexico in 2010.
(Click to enlarge)car and from this moment my life changed, I suddenly realized that the Holy Spirit was positive and not negative as I had thought Him to be,” said Allan.

Since CBC-Belfast was quite close to Allan’s workplace, he would talk with the students and hear about the teachings that were setting people free. He began to get excited about the Word as he heard more and more about the true nature of God. Allan began to purchase teachings from CBC and he devoured each one, which just fueled his hunger for more. “I was switched on to God's love and grace,” Allan explained.

Allan in his CBC cap and gown. (Click to enlarge)A year later, after spending a week on holiday, with a suit case full of teaching from Andrew, God spoke to Allan about attending CBC. “I went to an open week in Belfast, (an open house similar to "Campus Days" in Colorado)and I heard a man say, God is calling you to come to Bible college. It was settled in my heart that very day. I made plans and went to night school for two years; I would never be the same,” said Allan.

Once Allan had completed night school, God softened his heart to attend full-time school, which caused an amazing transition to happen in his life. “It really helped all that I learned to come out of me,” Allan said. As he recognized the changes happening within, Allan began to see himself differently. As a result, he began to treat others differently. He recalls his night school apprentice telling him, “See others as perfectly as Christ sees you.” This statement revolutionized Allan’s life and he began to feel Allan leading worship at CBC-Belfast. (Click to enlarge)empowered to teach others the nearly-too-good-to-be-true-news. This empowerment was just the beginning.

When Grady and Yvonne O'Brien, the former Directors of CBC-Belfast were ready to return to America, Allan stepped into the position for which God had been preparing him. Allan was ready to take what he had learned and bless others with the same revelation that had been shared with him (2 Timothy 2:2). His heart is to share the message of the Gospel with as many people as possible. “I hope that many others get to hear the message of the Gospel like I did, not only through the college, but also through another person who was discipled or preached to by someone who had a revelation of the good news,” said Allan.

The school currently offers day and night school classes with a present enrollment of 16 students. Allan has high hopes and an expectancy of increase in the years ahead. He has a vision of reaching the people of Belfast one step at a time, through the students and by reaching out to the community and working with the local churches. Allan plans to offer discipleship training each week, through which he wants to reach young and old Christians, train them up, equip them and watch the multiplication of God’s church take place before his eyes. CBC-Belfast provides a safe place for people to come and learn, and Allan is growing a strong team of leaders and helpers in the ministry in Belfast.

(Click to enlarge)Entrepreneurs, Leonardo and Iselsa Jimenez, owners of Alpha Dental in Katy, Texas, have made a long journey into their identities as a couple, as business owners and as part of the body Christ. Both immigrated to the United States in the 1980s, Leonardo from Colombia and Iselsa from the Dominican Republic, and their journey has led them from religion to a true understanding that God is a good God.

Though the immigrants had come to America from different countries, they wound up attending the same church in the Houston area. Iselsa and Leonardo met shortly after Iselsa had shared with the Lord her desire for a husband. "I asked God for a husband, not a Iselsa asked God for a husband, and she specified that he must love the Lord and he must be tall—God answers prayers. At church a short time later, Leonardo approached Iselsa and the two hit it off. Iselsa, conscious of what she had prayed, asked Leonardo during their first date, what he wanted to do with his life. He answered that he felt like he wanted to teach God's Word. The two were married in 1997.

During the early days of their relationship, Leonardo worked in a small hospital. One morning at work, he was listening to a local radio station when he heard Andrew's Gospel Truth program for the first time. Andrew was teaching, God is a Good God, and what Leonardo heard so impressed him that he called the ministry's Leonardo holds a tape of the first teaching he ever received from AWM. Leonardo was grateful that the tape was free because finances were tight. Actually, he refers to those days as the "poverty days."

Up until that point, Iselsa had been Leonardo's Bible study teacher as she had had some previous religious training, but with each message Leonardo heard he gained new revelation, and he began to share Andrew's teachings with her. As much as Iselsa was learning from Leonardo, she still struggled with accepting the teaching because it countered much of what she had been taught. She would listen and say to Leonardo, "Show me in the Bible where it says this." In frustration she would take things before God and ask, "Is this really true? Are you really Leonardo began to share Andrew's teaching with Iselsa.
Iselsa remembers Leonardo saying, "It's so simple, God is a good God, and the devil is a bad devil. See life from there. Whatever is good is from God, and whatever is bad is from the devil." Once Iselsa settled in her heart that what Andrew was teaching was true, the couple began to see change in their lives—change that lined up with the Word of God.

While Leonardo worked for the hospital, Iselsa worked as a dental assistant, but she wanted more. "The Lord says delight yourself in the Lord and He will give you the desires of your heart. I had a desire to do greater things. I didn't feel comfortable where we were. We had enough for us to live day-by-day, but we didn't have enough to give, we didn't have enough to enjoy—we didn't have enough."

After several years of struggling to advance in life, the couple put their faith in God's Word and watched as the Word began to produce fruit and Iselsa received her doctorate in America.
(Click to enlarge)Iselsa had been educated in the Dominican Republic and was certified as a dentist there; however, the United States would not recognize her credentials. The legal system prevented her advancement, but as she yielded to the need for further schooling in America, she couldn't get into any of the American dental schools. She scraped her savings together and spent the money on application fees and postage to apply to schools across the country only to be rejected by each one.

As she watched her dream to be a dentist slip away, Iselsa became depressed. Even the people at church, whom she felt should be encouraging her, were saying things that made her doubt herself; things to the effect of, "Maybe your The Jimenez opened their own dental practice in Katy, Texas called, Alpha Dental. She grew frustrated as she watched new doctors coming out of American dental schools, as they were hired with little knowledge and even less experience, knowing she had both.

The Jimenez struggled to afford their one-bedroom apartment and to make repairs to their car when needed. "America is supposed to be the land of your dreams, and I wasn't living that dream," remembered Iselsa.

Leonardo serves as the office manager for their dental practice.
(Click to enlarge)"We had always been taught that God was the one in control, using sickness to teach you and poverty to keep you in line," said Leonardo. When they realized, through Andrew's teaching, their true identity as the head and not the tail, they began to see a change in their lives.

The Jimenez came against the previous rejection from the schools and Iselsa chose to reapply. The couple prayed over her applications and would bless her outgoing letters, speaking the promises of God over each one. Eventually, Iselsa was accepted at University of the Pacific Dugoni School of Dentistry. She started school last in her class and graduated as the class salutatorian. Better still, Dr. Iselsa Mota-Jimenez—look at that smile! (Click to enlarge)she is now a dentist—twice.

Leonardo and Iselsa operate their own dental practice. The office, managed by Leonardo, is in a beautiful 2,500 sq. ft. space, and they now live in a 3000 sq. ft. home in a nice neighborhood. "We have more than enough. I'm not lacking anything, and money is not a problem—sincerely," said Leonardo.

They credit their success to standing on the Word of God and Andrew's teachings that helped them see that God is When Leonardo first met Andrew at a GTS, he shook his hand and thanked him for his ministry. Andrew pulled him closer and told him that he had the same gift of teaching that Andrew does, and he gave him a word from the Lord. Since that time, doors have opened for Leonardo to minister the grace and love of God.
(Click to enlarge)good. "It was an eye-opener for us. Finding that God was not the problem for [Iselsa] to get into school or for me to be able to get ahead in life, but rather, we have an enemy. Basically, the devil was taking advantage of our ignorance of the Word of God. Once we started to get the knowledge, the word says, 'You shall know the truth and the truth shall set you free,' and once we began to get the knowledge of the Word of God, we were able to possess the promises that God has already made," Leonardo shared.

"When Leonardo told me about Andrew Wommack, and he told me what he learned, I started founding my life and living my life through the Word of God, my life changed. It was not because I was in America. It was not because I was a dentist. When I made the decision to believe God and His Word, that's when I saw my life change," said Iselsa.

The man makes a living having his picture taken with tourists. (Click to enlarge)In February, Charis Bible College-Colorado sent its fifth team of second-year students on to the mission field. This team, led by CBC Instructors and missionaries, Dr. Delron and Peggy Shirley, went to Belize and were hosted by full-time missionaries, Craig and Tina Rumbley, the Co-Directors of CBC-Belize. During the week, the Rumbleys provided the students with many opportunities to experience hands-on ministry. Regardless of the type of outreach, the students had many unique chances to share God's unconditional love with the people of Belize.

The team spent one morning walking through the city distributing free sandwiches and ministering to the homeless in the alleyways and in the city park. While ministering in the park, the team encountered an elderly man named, Gilbert; he was sitting on a tree stump. He had spent much of his adult life in the United States, but had come back to his native Belize in his retirement years. Through a series of events Gilbert had wound up alone. When the students met him, they asked how he was doing. His response was, “Well, I’m not doing as well as you are.” Jeanne praying for and laying hands on the sick.
(Click to enlarge)During the conversation that followed, Gilbert mentioned that he was trying to stop smoking but just couldn’t kick the habit. One of the students, Jeanne DuBoise, asked if he was born again, and Gilbert responded that he was and told the team which church he attended. Knowing that it was a Bible-believing, evangelical church, they knew that Gilbert understood what they were sharing with him. Then Jeanne asked him if he had been baptized in the Holy Spirit, and he responded that he had not. She explained some of the Scriptures about the Holy Spirit baptism and then asked him to join her in singing a worship song. As Jeanne sang, she shifted into worshipping in the spirit—in unknown tongues. Immediately, Gilbert was also speaking in a heavenly language! When the team walked away to minister to others, they were confident that Gilbert was now free from the power that had held him and that he now had a new source of victory.CBC-Colorado student, Marcelo Duarte, speaking in front of a group at a prison in Belize.
During a hospital visitation the team went to various wards and had many opportunities to minister to patients and their families. As they ministered, they shared the message of the completeness of Jesus' work; salvation, healing and the message of deliverance from fear that often attacks those suffering. As the team prayed, they saw new hope and peace manifest on all the people's faces. Some patients showed visible signs of healing in their bodies. "One gentleman, for example, was unconscious—almost comatose—as we began ministering to him and his family. However, as we moved to the next bed to minister to another patient, we heard some excitement around his bed and looked back to see the patient talking and CBC-Colorado's Belize 2012 mission team.
CBC-Colorado student, Marcelo Duarte, had this to share as he reflected on his time in Belize, "God was faithful in confirming all that He had spoken in our lives (Marcelo and his wife Sandra). We were able to minister on different occasions and in different settings and were blessed to see the signs and miracles follow the Word proclaimed. Thank you Jesus."

CBC Poland: Retirement Pleasantly Interrupted

Charis Bible College-Colorado graduates and Co-Directors of CBC-Poland, Ewa and Joseph Sederstrom. (Click to enlarge)After decades working in corporate America, husband and wife, Joseph and Ewa Sederstrom, did what most hope to do at the end of their careers—they retired. Both had worked at Hewlett Packard/Agilent Technologies in Colorado Springs, when they made the decision to trade in their corporate hats and lean into the next season. The Sederstroms were comfortable, and as they settled in to life in the slower lane, they were unaware of changes ahead of them.

Both Joseph and Ewa were born again and had been walking with the Lord for more than ten years when they retired. The couple loved God and faithfully attended church services and small groups, but there was unrest in their spirits. The unrest was magnified as they entered retirement. "We had been Andrew with Joseph.
(Click to enlarge)Christians for approximately 13 years, and we knew that there should be more to our lives. We were not seeing much difference between non-believers' lives and most believers around us," said Joseph.

The couple recognized that they weren't experiencing any excitement in their Christian walk. Looking back, Joseph said what they saw was, "Mostly legalism and just waiting to go home." But, in 2007, their ho-hum Christian walk was energized when Ewa found Andrew's Gospel Truth program on television. She was working out on her treadmill when she heard Andrew teaching about the authority of the believer and that was the jolt she needed. "We had found the 'extra' that we knew was available to every believer. God wanted more for us, and we wanted more of what God wanted for us," said Ewa.

In March of 2007, the Sederstroms were watching the Gospel Truth when God interrupted their retirement Andrew with Ewa
(Click to enlarge)through the voice of Andrew's TV announcer as he promoted Charis Bible College's Campus Days, an event during which prospective students visit CBC and attend actual classes to get a taste of what the school has to offer. On a whim, they decided to hop in the car and make the 20 minute drive into town to explore CBC. "We got there at about 10 a.m., in time for the third period class, and at Noon we were talking about attending CBC in the fall," said Joseph.

Their spirits had been persuaded to attend Charis, but later the same afternoon, the Sederstroms began to doubt the idea of actually going through with enrollment. Joseph remembers saying, "How stupid—us going to Bible college? What a dumb idea!" Still unsure, the couple went to the evening session. Again, they came away excited to go to CBC, and planned to attend the final Campus Days session the following morning. The next day however, Joseph's doubt had returned for the second time. Fortunately, Joseph and Ewa had agreed to meet friends at the morning session, so they In the Planning stages: The Sederstoms meeting with Andrew and AWM's World Outreach Director, Wendell Parr.
(Click to enlarge)pressed ahead with their plans. "Again, after the teaching, we were pumped! Then I remembered Andrew saying, 'The devil always overplays his hand.' And, I knew that our negativism and doubt was from the enemy," said Joseph.

The Sederstroms went on to graduate with the class of 2009. During their time at CBC, Joseph and Ewa received the Lord's direction to plant a CBC extension school in Poland. The two have special ties to the nation and received the call with gladness. Joseph's fondness for Poland was instilled in him by his Polish grandmother who immigrated to the USA before WWI, and his mother kept the traditions and connection to his Polish heritage alive in their home. Although Ewa has lived in the U.S. since 1975, her ties to Poland are deep; she was The Sederstroms have chosen to launch CBC-Poland in the central part of the country, in the city of Łódż.
(Click to enlarge)born and raised in Łódż, (pronounced: woodge) Poland. Through the years the Sederstroms have stayed connected with family and friends and visited Poland many times.

The couple attended CBC's optional third year as apprentices, spending their time developing plans for their ministry in Poland and preparing for the relocation. They moved to Łódż in September of 2010 to establish their new residence and organizational status. Their ministry, Sozo Life Ministries and the new school, CBC-Poland are now recognized under the law in Poland as a legitimate religious organizations, and the Sederstroms are free to minister legally.

Since their arrival, the Sederstroms have also been building relationships with pastors and churches throughout Poland. Joseph and Ewa have Ewa ministering to a group.
(Click to enlarge)introduced the Discipleship Evangelism materials in a small-group setting in their home and in a larger class setting at their church. Several pastors from other local churches are using the Polish-translated DE materials as well.

"This is a country that is traditionally Roman Catholic. Protestants are a small percentage of the population, probably less than 1%, but we are not here to convert people. We are here to open a Bible college and teach the Word of God to anyone with ears to hear. Period," said Joseph.

When asked to compare retired life before God's interruption to their current adventure, the Sederstroms The Sederstroms with local pastors and church leaders in Krakow, Poland.
(Click to enlarge)had this to say, "There is no comparison. Every day is exciting. We wake up anticipating what the Lord will show us and do that day. Every day begins with Kawa i Słowo (pronounced kah-vah ee swoh-vo, "coffee and the Word") for around two hours. Then, whatever we have to do. It is never boring and always amazing [to see] who the Lord has put in our place to continue what we need to do to get the school started in September 2012."

How HE Loves Each of Us

In early 2012, CBC-Colorado sent a student missionary team to Russia. CBC students Shirley, Rheta, Gideon Collin and Dan pose for a living "Last Supper" portrait at the Koralia Church.
(Click to enlarge)One visit to the mission field, short term or long, has a tendency to change a person. The experience often exposes an individual to facets of God's love and aspects of ministry that they would otherwise never encounter. Through Charis Bible College's missions program, many students have had the opportunity to see the world and God's people from a new perspective. This was the case for CBC student, Sharayah Stitt; her trip to Russia with a team from CBC-Colorado solidified a direction for her future.

The team led by CBC-Colorado's Missions Coordinator, Michelle Patterson, visited St. Petersburg in January and ministered alongside staff and students from Charis Bible CBC-Colorado students, Sharayah, Alex and Steve, enjoyed their time ministering at Charis Bible Training Center in St. Petersburg.
(Click to enlarge)Training Center. The Colorado students had the chance to minister in the CBC extension school as well as at a local rehab center and small village church several hours outside St. Petersburg. It was at this village church that Sharayah encountered the Lord in a new way.

At the church, the students gathered in groups of three in front of the platform for a time of prayer ministry. A young girl named, Galya, was brought to Sharayah's group. It was evident by her lack of eye contact that Galya was very shy and timid. Through the translator Sharayah understood that the girl, about 17, was recently orphaned, and now found herself living on her own and caring for a younger sister. While they did have a home Carrie Pickett, the Director of CBTC in St. Petersburg (center) stands on the platform of a small village church with the team's interpreter and CBC Colorado's team leader, Michelle Patterson (right).
"After praying, I asked our interpreter to tell Galya that she was pretty and reminded me of one of my friends. She looked up nearly astonished, for the first time making eye contact, then smiled ever so slightly and threw her arms around me in the most desperate hug I have ever experienced," Sharayah said.

The two embraced for several minutes and for the next half hour, stood with their arms around each other, listening to another CBC team member minister on God’s love. From those first moments, Sharayah and Galya were inseparable. If they were standing, they were hugging; if they were sitting they had their arms around each other. It did not matter that neither spoke the other's language—God’s During the course of the mission trip, Sharayah (right), gained a glimpse of God's love for each of us.
"She had obviously not been shown much love growing up, and I believe God specifically sent me to Russia to spend time with her, love on her, embrace her, and show her the tangible side of God’s love," Sharayah said.
